We are hiring for three distinct Project Information Specialist roles at different experience levels and functional focuses. We encourage candidates with relevant experience to apply — we'll match qualified applicants to the best-fit role.

Senior Project Information Specialist (10+ years experience)
Lead facilities, audiovisual, and Business Center operations. Oversee conference room and training room scheduling, AV infrastructure, and building/security coordination. Supervise and mentor more junior Information Specialist staff. Coordinate with office management, HR, and facility security functions. Estimated salary range: $88,000–$100,000.
Project Information Specialist — Facilities & Audio-Visual (7+ years experience)
Provide hands-on facilities and AV support for conference rooms, training rooms, and the Agency Business Center. Set up and troubleshoot AV equipment for live events. Manage the Agency's project report library. Coordinate room reservations, event logistics, and Business Center operations. Estimated salary range: $72,000–$82,000.
Project Information Specialist — Travel & Administration (7+ years experience)
Coordinate federal personnel travel using government systems (E2 Solutions, Concur). Support budget and finance administration, expense reporting, and records management. Maintain agency travel records and provide secondary support for conference room and AV operations. Estimated salary range: $70,000–$80,000.
What You'll Be Doing
Across all three roles, day-to-day work includes:
- Operating, troubleshooting, and setting up AV equipment (microphones, monitors, video teleconferencing, webcasts) during meetings, training sessions, and Agency events
- Setting up conference rooms, board rooms, and training rooms for scheduled and ad-hoc use
- Creating and editing audiovisual content such as presentations and videos
- Managing information and records in compliance with federal recordkeeping policies
- Operating IT systems, databases, and SharePoint to track requests, reservations, and records
- Drafting correspondence, reports, and presentations for Agency leadership
- Supporting on-site administrative operations including office management, building/facilities coordination, and security protocols
- Cross-training across IRC functions to ensure continuity of operations
Required Qualifications (All Positions)
- U.S. Citizenship (required by the contract)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance — active Secret clearance strongly preferred for immediate placement
- College degree in business administration, information management, or a related field — or equivalent professional certifications and demonstrated experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and SharePoint
- Experience in administrative management, organizational policies, and procedures development
- Experience in information and records management
- Experience providing on-site AV technical support and troubleshooting during live events
- Experience setting up conference, board, or training rooms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to move large numbers of files and/or file boxes
- Commitment to high-quality, customer-focused service
Preferred Qualifications
- Active SECRET clearance (or higher)
- Federal government or government-contractor experience
- Experience with federal travel regulations and government travel systems (E2, Concur, DTS)
- Experience managing a project report library or document repository
- Records management certification (e.g., Certified Records Manager, NARA training)
- Facilities or AV technical certifications
Location & Schedule
- On-site at USTDA in Arlington, VA. No hybrid or telework arrangement is available for any of these positions.
- Normal business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (40 hours per week)
