Job Summary
This position plays a central operational role in supporting surgical, clinical, and academic functions for the department. The primary focus of the role is managing all aspects of surgical scheduling, securing insurance approvals, coordinating physician credentialing, and overseeing complex Outlook calendar management. The position also handles travel arrangements and expense reporting for the surgeon, leads onboarding activities for new staff, and provides comprehensive administrative coordination for accredited and non‑accredited fellowship programs. This role ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations across patient care, academic programs, and administrative workflows, serving as a key point of continuity and support for physicians, fellows, and departmental leadership.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Business Administration preferred or Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting 5-7 years required and Experience supporting senior-level staff 1-2 years preferred
