Position Title: Secretary/Receptionist (High School)
Contract: 220 Days (Present assignment)
7.5 hours per day (30 minute lunch excluded; 2 paid breaks- 15 minute)
Salary: Per Classified Salary Schedule
Primary Function: General office procedures, reception duties, ESchool demographic maintenance, student discipline records, student attendance from teacher gradebooks (TAC), process all attendance documents (teacher slips, doctor notes, nurse notes, check-in and check-out sheets, notify parent/guardian of student absences and notify officials as required by district, state and federal laws/regulations.) Assist and backup high school registrar in enrolling and withdrawing students.
- A primary responsibility indicates the ultimate task of entering data and maintaining the module/documents.
- A backup responsibility indicates that someone else has the main responsibility while other personnel assists and shares the responsibility.
- Job responsibilities and duties are not all-inclusive, other duties may be assigned by administrators/supervisors per district needs.

- All reception duties as assigned by building administrators
- Attendance data entry, letters, reports, etc.
- Maintain and verify demographics each year
- Assist registrar as needed (enrollment of students, etc.)
- Verify High School Attendance Cycle Reports
- Assist in back to school preparations and end of year preparations each year

Multiple duties/responsibilities per needs of district, staff, parent/guardians, students, etc.

This person will be trained in various modules and have the primary responsibility in Demographic maintenance, Attendance maintenance/notification procedures, Discipline maintenance/notification procedures, and general office reception duties. This person will assist in preparing back to school and end of school yearly reports and archiving appropriate documents as required by district, state, and federal guidelines.
Employee Evaluation:
- The Accounts Payable/Benefits will be evaluated by the Business Manager. The evaluation process will fulfill all requirements by State law, District policy, and position as defined within approved Position guide.
- Superintendent of schools will evaluate the overall district responsibilities.
- High school principal will evaluate the overall high school responsibilities.
- Student data supervisor will evaluate the overall database responsibilities (ESchool, TRIAND, Thrillshare Call System, Cognos, Centigix, etc.)
