What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive administrative support to executives, managers, and departments at GMS Surgent
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, reports, and presentations
Answer and route phone calls, emails, and internal communications
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, including client and tax-related records
Assist with tax administration tasks such as client intake, document tracking, tax deadline coordination, and filing support
Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed
Assist with expense reports, invoicing, and basic recordkeeping
Support internal projects and handle administrative tasks
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior administrative or office support experience preferred, ideally in a professional service or tax environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, software platforms, and administrative tools used in tax and office operations
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion
Professional office environment at GMS Surgent (in-office position)
Regular interaction with internal teams and external clients
Emphasis on reliability, adaptability, and attention to detail
