This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. The starting pay is $17.36 per hour and is scheduled 8 hours per day. This positionworks 208 school days, with six additional paid holidays (total 214 days). Approximate minimum yearly salary is $29,720. Similar secretarial experience will also be considered for a higher rate of pay. Pay is two times monthly (15th and 30th/31st). This position works in collaboration with the building head secretary and the building attendance secretary, reporting to the Principal and Assistant Principals.

Purpose
The job of Assistant Principal Secretary is done for the purpose/s of providing administrative and secretarial support to assigned school site administrators; monitoring assigned activities; and providing information, recommendations and/or direction as requested.

Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 90% sitting, 5% walking, and 5% standing. The job is performed under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
