Waukesha County District Attorney's Office is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will perform a broad variety of clerical and administrative support work. Typical duties include greeting visitors, answering and directing calls from three dedicated phone lines, providing customer service to members of the public as well as law enforcement and other justice partners, preparing written communications, organizing, maintaining and analyzing records, reports, and files, assisting with various projects, responding to inquiries from the public and receipting payments.
The start date for this position is July 13, 2026.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
Hourly Rate: We offer a competitive hourly rate (starting range is $21.03 to $24.15 depending on qualifications, full range extends to $27.75).
Prior to hiring, the successful candidate will be subject to a background investigation conducted by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
1. High School Diploma or GED.
