MMUUSD is seeking an organized, dynamic, and professional individual to fill a dual-focused position providing administrative, operational, and clerical support across the Preschool programs and the Central Office. This position will work all school days, plus an additional 20-30 days in the summer. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for the central office while providing vital administrative support to preschool operations, the school board, and the superintendent.
Preschool Administration: Serve as the primary point of contact for families; manage enrollment, registration, and transportation forms; maintain childcare compliance data; and track daily student attendance and staff records.
Central Office Operations: Lead frontline reception by greeting visitors and managing incoming calls; oversee building-use applications; coordinate incoming/outgoing mail; and serve as the main point person for day-to-day office logistics and coordination.
Executive & Board Support: Manage calendars and scheduling for the Superintendent; prepare and post required School Board updates and agendas; and assist with data collection and state reporting timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience: Associate degree or equivalent professional experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience Minimums: Minimum of 3 years of school administrative, executive assistant, or office management experience.
Technical Proficiency: High proficiency across the Google platform (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar), office productivity suites, and educational database management systems (PowerSchool experience preferred).
Core Skills: Exceptional communication and public relations skills, superb organizational abilities, independent problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding legally protected files.
