Department:
UCF Athletics - Men's Basketball
Position assists in a variety of administrative functions while implementing and maintaining administrative policies and procedures for the men's basketball program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Fields correspondence, reports, inquiries, memoranda and other general documents submitted to the men's basketball office, to include sensitive / confidential projects. Prepares appropriate documents / correspondence as instructed.
Manages front office operations for men's basketball, including serving as primary point of contact for incoming calls, correspondence, and guests. Develops and implements administrative standards, policies and practices relative to area of operation.
Provides daily calendar / schedule support for the Head Coach, Men's Basketball as well as Assistant Coaches as needed.
Prepares and reviews documents requiring the signature of the Head Coach, Men's Basketball for accuracy and compliance with Athletics, University, NCAA, State, and Federal policies and procedures. Serves as men's basketball liaison to administrative units where appropriate.
Coordinates travel arrangements (airlines tickets, hotels, rental cars, etc.) for the Head Coach, Men's Basketball and men's basketball staff as appropriate. Prepares expense and travel reports for reimbursement.
Provides daily management of the men's basketball operating budget, to include regular collaboration with Athletics Business Office. Prepares purchase orders and orders supplies for program as needed.
Prepares, tracks, and catalogs game contracts for men's basketball office. Develops / maintains master calendar of men's basketball events for Head Coach.
Responsible for records management for the men's basketball office within Athletics, University, NCAA, and State guidelines.
Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree; or a bachelor's degree and two (2) years of appropriate experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Handling confidential materials and information daily, prefer previous advanced business / administrative experience, including strong computer (Microsoft Office) skills

Attention to detail
Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
