This is a part-time position that does not include benefits.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides secretarial and accounting support to the Supervisor of Technology Services
- Serves as a coordinator in developing and maintaining programs and requests
- Serves as secretary to department supervisor by providing assistance in the implementation of the details and duties designed to carryout goals and objectives
- Establishes and maintains record keeping systems and office procedures
- Maintains complete, accurate, and current records of all financial transactions and manages financial filing system
- Supports planning annual budget requests by maintaining materials and supplies inventory, providing historical data, investigating current costs and needs, and working collaboratively with other stakeholders to collect information
- Communicates with vendors, places orders, and processes invoices and purchase orders in accordance with established procedures
- Receives and screens visitors, telephone calls, and mail
- Responds to inquiries by making decisions which in the employee's judgment do not require the supervisor's attention or from brief dictated notes in accordance with predetermined policy and practice
- Prepares memos, announcements, and other informational materials as requested
- Assists department staff by processing timesheets and reimbursements and monitoring status of various program requirements
- Maintains respect at all times for confidential and sensitive information protected by local, state, and federal law
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Daily responsibilities may vary depending on department needs
Qualifications:
- Hold a high school diploma
- Have purchasing and basic accounting skills
- Have ability to work well with students, staff and parents in a professional manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with expertise in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Previous experience providing administrative support in an office setting
- Experience with Google Suite and PowerSchool (preferred)
