ResponsibilitiesAbout the Position
We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team as an Attest Administrative Assistant. In this dynamic role, you will split your time between supporting our Attest practice and working as part of our National Document Production team. Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Attest Support
- Provide administrative support to attest teams, including scheduling, tracking project timelines, and assisting with engagement management
- Utilize project management tools (such as Excel and SmartSheet) to monitor progress and update status reports
- Prepare and proofread documents, manage files, and ensure data accuracy
- Coordinate communication between team members and with clients as needed.
- Anticipate needs and proactively resolve issues
- Assist with process improvements and handle ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned
National Document Production
- Format and style various types of documents, including letters and financial statement reports
- Ensure adherence to region guidelines regarding fonts, margins, headers, and footers
- Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, and consistency
- Verify numerical data for accuracy
- Collaborate with engagement teams to finalize client deliverables and meeting reporting deadlines
- Use company policies and procedures to archive file appropriately and timely
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of administrative professional; experience at an accounting or professional services firm strongly preferred
- Initiative-taking, highly organized, and a proven attention to detail
- Working application of Windows and Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel. Experience with SmartSheet is a plus.
- Proficient in formatting and proofreading
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math and accounting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Adaptability and time management skills
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in office environment and preferably performing as an administrative assistant
- Must have knowledge of administrative procedures
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
