- Position is based in an elementary school office environment with frequent interaction with students, families, staff, and visitors.
- Standard office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- This is a year-round position that supports school operations during the academic year and summer months.
- Work involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
- The role may require multitasking in a busy, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies, student materials, or packages (typically up to 20 pounds) may be required.
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and a calm, welcoming demeanor are essential while handling a constant flow of communication and daily office needs.
- Previous experience in an office or school administrative setting, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with common office technology and software programs, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive), Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, and digital communication tools.
- Ability to learn and navigate new technology systems quickly and efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
