We are looking for a dedicated, highly organized Senior Executive Assistant to act as the primary support system for our CEO. Your primary mission is to protect the CEO’s time and energy by handling the logistics of their professional and personal daily life.
The "plus" in this role is that you aren't just an organizer; you are a sharp communicator. You will assist with research, content drafting, and business projects that require a high degree of literacy and professional polish.
Core Administrative Responsibilities (The Priority)
- Calendar & Gatekeeping: Serve as the "Air Traffic Controller" for the CEO’s day—managing the CEO’s calendar and meeting requests, while ensuring the schedule is realistic and prioritized.
- Daily Logistics: Handle the day-to-day essentials that keep a busy leader able to focus on leading the enterprise.
- Travel Management: Research and book seamless travel (flights, cars, hotels), anticipating needs before they arise.
- Personal Support: Assist with occasional personal tasks and administrative errands to ensure the CEO can remain fully focused on the business.
Strategic & Creative Support (The Value-Add)
- Drafting & Editing: Assist the CEO in drafting communication, content and/or internal team updates, while maintaining a professional and consistent voice.
- Presentation Support: Help clean up slide decks or prepare basic research briefs before the CEO heads into a high-stakes meeting.
- Project Support: Attend executive-level meetings at the request of the CEO and step in to assist with follow-up on projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO.
Who You Are
- Service-Oriented: You find genuine professional satisfaction in being helpful and making someone else’s day run smoothly.
- Elite Organizer: You are "the organized one" in every group you’ve been in. Nothing slips through the cracks.
- A Talented Writer: You have a "knack" for words and can take a rough idea from the CEO and turn it into a clear, professional message.
- No Ego: You understand that "no task is too small" and bring a positive attitude to everything from boardroom prep to lunch pickup.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an executive support role, ideally within a global or corporate environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level correspondence with a sharp eye for detail/grammar.
- Tech-savvy - experience with Google Suite, Zoom, etc. a plus.
- Proven professionalism with a high degree of discretion, confidentiality and sound judgement.
- Experience partnering with senior management in a fast-paced environment.
- Based in Omaha with a reliable way to handle local errands.
