We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department.
Our Victory Learning Center Programs offers specialized educational services for students who are diagnosed with Autism or a Cognitive Disability paired with a mental health diagnosis. There are two separate sites conveniently located in Lackawanna, NY, with a third site opening in September 2026! Our schools service students ages 5-21, who are residentially placed or are referred through their local school district's Committee on Special Education.

Full Time position, Monday-Friday
Job Summary:
Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. The Administrative Assistant will complete tasks as assigned by the VP of Education, Principal, Director of Education or Supervisor.
Essential job duties:
Answer telephones in a professional manner, providing information to callers, taking messages or transferring calls to the appropriate individuals, set up appointments and greet students staff and visitors in a welcoming manner.
Distribute mail.
Enter data, manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork and maintaining systems. Maintain electronic calendar and school email. Make copies when needed. Prepare and mails letters as directed.
Support Program, Director and Principal by ordering and dispensing office and program supplies, expense reimbursements and other duties that maybe assigned by supervisor.
Obtains medical documentation, school records; transcripts, IEPs, behavior records, disciplines, etc. for all clients.
Mail and file all CSE evaluation paperwork and annual review information for students as needed.
Attend trainings when necessary to maintain and enhance skills.
