Position Overview
The Marketing Assistant supports company-wide marketing initiatives by assisting with the planning,
coordination, and execution of marketing activities aligned with organizational objectives.
This role provides broad support to the Marketing department and cross-functional teams, contributing to
marketing programs, content development, and internal and external communications.
Responsibilities include creating, editing, and maintaining content for showroom display screens;
coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to source content; supporting social media
graphics, content, and engagement; and assisting with basic performance tracking and reporting.
The Marketing Assistant also supports marketing-related training initiatives as needed and works
collaboratively with the eCommerce team and the Marketing Specialist to help execute ongoing
marketing and eCommerce initiatives.
Support the development and execution of marketing initiatives aligned with the annual
business plan to drive brand growth and organizational objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Build, organize, and maintain a centralized content library, including photography, video, and
graphic creative assets, ensuring accessibility and brand consistency.
Manage digital screens, software platforms, and content organization for the Immersive
Showroom project, supporting ongoing enhancements and updates.
Compile, organize, and maintain essential marketing data to support reporting, planning, and
decision-making.
Collaborate closely with the Ecommerce team to support cross-functional initiatives and achieve
business plan goals.
Provide direct support to the Marketing Specialist, assisting with project execution,
coordination, and special initiatives as needed.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal employees and external customers regarding
available marketing support and resources.
Respond to marketing inquiries, assist with creative requests, and provide clear follow-up to
ensure timely and effective delivery.
Conduct small group or one-on-one training sessions to educate employees on marketing tools,
processes, and available assistance.
Work in close partnership with the Marketing Specialist to ensure alignment, efficiency, and
consistency across marketing efforts.
Education, Experience, and Job Specific Skills Required:
High school diploma or GED.
2 years of experience in marketing or similar business fields.
Intermediate to a high level of experience in creating content and graphic design.
Job-Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of social media platforms and online marketing tools will help them be more
successful in their work.
Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques, including customer segmentation,
customer acquisition and retention, and brand building.
Confidence with design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or
equivalent program.
Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Attention to detail.
Intermediate to expert level skills in Excel preferred.
Problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others;
diagnosing and rectifying problems.
Critical thinking skills: ability to collect data, evaluate results, and draw valid conclusions.
Data management skills: ability to identify key data points, clean and organize data for
review, extract actionable insights, and create summaries/presentations based on the
information gleaned.
Ability to multi-task, work on deadlines and prioritize workflow.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Most work is performed in an office environment using phone and computer; however, the job requires occasional driving to and from locations.
