As an Administrative Assistant, you will tap into your analytical skills by researching, compiling, and entering data to maintain accuracy and the integrity of reporting. Additionally, you well proactively perform administrative duties to support junior to mid-level bankers which includes managing calendars, scheduling meetings, calls, arranging travel, and processing expenses. This role will also serve as backup support for the front office hospitality team.

This position offers flexibility to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the Tysons Corner office and Monday and Friday remote.
The Impact You’ll Make:
Perform data entry responsibilities including data mining, data clean-up, and ongoing system updates to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting
Support a team of junior / mid-level bankers assisting with project focused tasks
Manage and coordinate various calendars and synchronize schedules for team calls, meetings, etc.
Arranging domestic and international travel and become knowledgeable on Travel policies, procedures, and changes
Preparing, processing, submitting, and tracking expenses; become knowledgeable on Expense policies, procedures, and changes
Backup support to Administrative Assistants / Executive Assistant in their absence including receptionist desk, hospitality, etc
Build relationships with bankers and peers through collaborative efforts and teamwork
Coordinate with the Conference Center team to reserve conference rooms and catering for internal meeting
Represent Baird in a professional manner and thoughtful demeanor both internally and externally with clients, bankers, and peers
What You’ll Bring to Baird:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of Administrative Assistant experience, preferably within the financial services industry
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficient to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with travel and expense reporting systems (Concur preferred)
Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Compensation and Benefits:
$28.25-$38.25 hourly rate
Bonus potential up to 8.5% of base pay
Compensation and bonus are commensurate with experience, performance and/or firm profitability
