Regional Business Office Manager
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Business Officer Manager who is ready to who is ready to move beyond the basics.
Training & Mentorship
You aren't just a supervisor; you are an educator. You’ll be responsible for taking new Business Office Managers (BOMs) and teaching them the in's and out's of the Business Office's role in the revenue cycle. Also, assist in training current Business office managers on new policies.
The Goal: Getting to a point of autonomy where the Business Office Manager can manage their own aging reports without constant oversight.
Policies: Assist in establishing policies and procedures to ensure the team is up to date and following payer rules on items such as; requesting and tracking level of care, intermediate level of care, and authorization requests
Key Tool: PointClickCare (PCC). You’ll need to be the resident expert on this platform.
2. Auditing & Compliance
This role acts as the "safety net" for the company’s compliance and revenue.
Trust Audits: Ensuring Resident Trust Funds are handled according to state regulations.
Private Pay Policy: Ensuring each facility is following the Private Pay Policy
Mock Surveys: Simulating a state inspection to make sure the business office is ready for survey.
Census: Assisting in audits to ensure all revenue is being captured properly
3. Financial Clean-up (The "Fixer")
If the facility does not have a BOM or a building falls behind, you step in as the Acting BOM.
Month-End Close: You’ll be responsible for the "hard close," ensuring all census data is accurate and all revenue is captured.
A/R Meetings: You lead the discussion on "uncollectible" debt and hold the business office staff accountable for following up on current and past due accounts.
Technical Skills You’ll Need
To excel here, you need more than just general accounting knowledge. You need specific industry expertise:
PointClickCare (PCC) and RFMS ( Resident Fund Management System)
Knowledge in Billing- Medicare (Part A&B), Medicaid, Managed Care and Private Pay
Regulation-State specifics trust funds, laws, and HIPPA compliance
Workflow-Coordinating between Admissions and Clinical for billing accuracy

Job Summary As the Mobile Business Office Manager you will assist with the day to day functions of the business office. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively. Candidate will have frequent interaction with residents, families and the public, and as such, must be able to present in a professional and friendly manner. The candidate must function as both a team member and leader to ensure that the office runs smoothly and quality service is delivered, supporting team members and leading the way in celebrating team successes.
