DescriptionWMUR, the ABC affiliate in Manchester, NH has an opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant to assist all departments. You will provide support by performing multiple tasks that contribute to the daily operations of the department. You will manage appointments, screen calls, handle electronic and written correspondence and assist with invoices and other office tasks. You will also assist with employee engagement opportunities. You will report to the President & General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager and the station management team with several responsibilities
- Assist with invoices and some log management
- Sort mail and handle outgoing mail and shipping
- Answer incoming calls, greet guests and take messages
- Maintain and order supplies
- Help with travel arrangements
- Coordinate station meetings and events
Requirements
- 1+ years working in an office environment
- Maintain confidentiality
- Team player
- Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Related military experience will be considered
