You will join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System. This position will work in our Kearney office.
Ways you will make an impact:
- Provide high impact support for a wide range of activities including organizational, administrative, and technical support.
- Lead administrative staff by developing and executing consistent procedures, practices, and standards.
- Work proactively in completing clerical and administrative duties such as drafting correspondence, calendar triage, managing scheduling and email, and travel arrangements.
- Increase efficiency and effectiveness by delegating, analyzing, anticipating and strategically planning in your duties.
- Oversee daily operations and functions of the Kearney office.
- Perform back-up front desk receptionist duties (i.e., answering telephone, greeting guests, etc.) and other duties as assigned.

What you need:
- Minimum Education: Associates degree or equivalent required. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum Experience: 6 years of experience in a Senior Administrative level, and 3 years’ experience managing others.
- Ability to work with a high level of organization.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strategic prioritization and stakeholder management skills.
- Discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Demonstrated experience with internal senior executives and external customers.
- Computer experience in a PC environment; ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite and utilize other software.
