Position Description
Provide legal office support to the County Attorney and Assistant County Attorneys by preparing and maintaining documents and coordinating activities supporting office functions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge: Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel). Office procedures, data entry and record keeping. Legal terminology and procedures. Criminal, civil and juvenile justice systems
Adhere to all laws, statutes, policies and rules with the essential level of confidentiality and safety required of the position.
Skills: English grammar, punctuation and vocabulary. Customer service. Effective communication, both orally and written. Attend trainings/meetings/make office deliveries, on an as needed basis, via a reliable means of transportation
Proficient in using automated systems relevant to the position. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all stakeholders relevant to the position. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, accuracy, and problem solving.
Abilities: Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures and directives from supervisors. Organized. Attention to detail. Maintain confidentiality. Handle multiple tasks. Establish and maintain effective working relationships

Physical Requirements
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
