We are hiring for the role of Administrative Assistant in the Fire Department.
Essential Job Functions- Greet office visitors, answer telephone, and monitor/maintain the Noblesville Fire Department (NFD) email account.
- Perform various administrative duties including, but not limited to, compiling department's annual report, maintaining/updating roster, scheduling meetings, and maintaining various department calendars.
- Maintain various databases, performing data entry and creating specialized reports.
- Assist Accounting Assistant with processing claims and with Board of Works/Common Council agenda submissions.
- Coordinate Merit Commission meetings.
- Organize the annual Christmas Food and Toy Drive and assist with various other department special events.
- Prepare new NFD employee documentation.
