Serves as the first point of contact for juveniles, families and community members entering the Midland County Juvenile Probation Department offices. Answers telephone calls to the Department and directs callers to appropriate staff members. Monitors cameras of entry point to Department and grants entrance to juveniles, families and community members through the intercom system. Responsibilities may also include completion of clerical assignments to assist management staff, data entry into multiple databases containing juvenile justice data and other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum high school diploma, or its equivalent, some college preferred, plus at least two years of experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Computers, Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Access, standard office practices and procedures; and general bookkeeping practices.
Operate office equipment such as copy machine and facsimile machine, read manuals and memos, write messages, letters, and memos, perform mathematical calculations, perform bookkeeping functions, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the general public.
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License. Obtain and maintain TJJD certificates/requirements.
