Salary: Code: OS4: $15.69/hr - $18.49/hr Depending on experience in a school PLUS:

Job Summary:
Perform administrative, secretarial, and clerical office to support the functions of a senior high school. The main focus is on increasing the attendance rate at a secondary school. The work is performed under the supervision of a school administrator.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Positive public relations skills
- The ability to speak Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of Power School (Student Information System) is a plus
- Demonstrates an ability to accomplish the major duties listed below.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Encourage and support students to maintain positive attendance.
- Enter and maintain student records in an online student information system (Power School)
- Collaborates with other departments to assist the school district in maintaining accurate student information and enrollment numbers.
- Process demographic and attendance data accurately and according to the established procedure
- Notify parents of student absences, and receive and file written excuses for student absences.
- Operate and maintain a variety of office equipment.
- Place and answer telephone calls as needed.
- Backup and support Office Manager
- Act ethically and confidently in all aspects of employment.
- Deal with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive encouraging manner.
- Know and follow district policy and chain of command.
- Perform such school-related duties as assigned by the principal(s)
