QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma/GED
2. Proficient in applies technology, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
3. Proficient in general office management and procedures.
4. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Must be self-motivated, possess the ability to work under pressure, able to handle multiple tasks, and work collaboratively.
6. Compentency on CFISD proficiency test. (Score of 85 or above and a minimum of 55 wpm typing skills)

SALARY/PAY GRADE:

$39,742/CP-6 as approved by the Board of Trustees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Process correspondence for the director of special education.
2. Prepare, manage, and reconcile various administrative and instructional budgets including grants.
3. Process purchase orders, distribution orders, mileage, and travel requests.
4. Maintain well-organized filing system.
5. Coordinate travel and workshops for staff.
6. Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
7. Perform other duties assigned by the director of special education and the assistant superintendent for educational support services.
