Administrative Assistant to Principal - Becket Washington Elementary School (School Year)
POSITION : Administrative Assistant to Principal- Becket Washington Elementary School (School Year position)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
- Experience with financial systems, student information systems, and/or state reporting platforms preferred
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- 35 hours/week, school-year plus an additional 20 days per year
- Receptionist and management of front office (students, visitors, calls, mail, shipments)
- Daily student attendance entry
- Ability to manage and complete district and DOE reports
- Responsible for access to building
- Responsible for dismissing students
- Providing assistance to principal and staff
- Process staff timesheets and support payroll coordination
- Manage purchasing processes, including preparing and submitting purchase orders and coordinating with vendors
- Process accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and submission for payment
- Other duties as assigned
REPORTS TO: Principal
START DATE: July 1, 2026
SALARY: $19.79 to $27.23 per hour per Admin Assistant contract
