The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Amazon Business - Flywheel Inputs (AFBI) team in New York, NY.
We’re a team of good humans who like working with other good humans. We care about doing the right thing, taking ownership, and building trust; and we try not to take ourselves too seriously along the way.
This isn’t your typical EA role. We’re not looking for someone to just manage calendars and inboxes (though yes, those matter too). We’re looking for a partner—someone who’s proactive, curious, and always thinking, “there’s probably a better way to do this.” If you enjoy making chaos feel organized, finding smarter ways to work, particularly using GenAI, and eliminating manual, repetitive tasks, you’ll fit right in.
Amazon Business has a bold vision for the future, and huge runway for growth. If you are looking for growth opportunities, and want to be a strategic thought partner, this is your EA role!
Key job responsibilities
• Own and expertly manage complex, dynamic calendars for two leaders with distinct yet interdependent portfolios—protecting focus time, sequencing meetings strategically, and resolving scheduling conflicts with sound judgment
• Build strong, trusted working relationships with EAs across AB and multiple VP partner teams across WW Amazon (US, EU, IN, JP)
• Create, edit, and finalize leadership documents, presentations, and communications that meet Amazon’s highest standards for clarity and precision
• Drive continuous improvement by designing and implementing new mechanisms, processes, and tracking systems that enhance team effectiveness
• Attend leadership meetings, capture decisions and action items
• Own ABFI team mechanisms including xBRs and All-Teams
• Own travel for both leaders, and plan and execute team events
• Oversee team space planning
A day in the life
• Own complex calendars across time zones, coordinate high-stakes meetings with senior leaders, and track critical deliverables
• Manage domestic and international travel, wrangle expense reports, and handle space planning as the org evolves
• Anticipate needs before they're asked, handle urgent requests without breaking a sweat, and coordinate across teams without needing the full picture
• Work with GenAI to improve manual processes
