About the Role:
As an Executive Assistant for the Talent & Growth COE, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team responsible for defining and delivering enterprise-wide strategies – spanning talent management, leadership development, executive experiences, skills foundations, performance, potential and succession planning. The team designs integrated, data driven solutions that help the organization know, grow and prepare its talent while enabling consistent scalable practices across all segments.
This role will support the Vice President Talent & Growth and the Directors. Your role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation and success of the executives you support, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing your workload independently with minimal supervision, providing essential support to executives, and occasionally offering informal guidance to junior team members. Your contributions will be critical in maintaining the seamless operation of the team and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a skilled, proficient, and independent worker who is also an effective problem-solver.
- Manage day-to-day calendars (across multiple time zones), including scheduling meetings and coordinating departmental events.
- Prepare and support presentation decks and reports for meetings.
- Coordinate domestic and international meetings and conference arrangements.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and creating travel itineraries for team members.
- Maintain efficient document filing systems and manage daily correspondence.
- Assist with on-boarding new employees and coordinate team-building activities.
- Provide general office support, including ordering supplies, and managing office equipment.
- Manage extremely confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience in administrative role.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Coupa, and Concur.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, resourceful, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well with people at all levels and build strong partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting director-level executives.
- Experience working at The Walt Disney Company.
- Experience in Human Resources or a similar industry.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in California is $65,300.00 to $87,500.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
