Project Manager / Office Manager

GraphicWorks Sign Company is hiring a Project Manager / Office Manager to help lead custom signage projects from award through permitting, fabrication, and installation.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication, follow-through, and leadership, along with the ability to coordinate with clients, internal teams, vendors, and local jurisdictions.
This position also plays a key role in overseeing the front-end office workflow, including management of designers, and scheduling. Responsibilities
- Manage custom signage projects from client kickoff to final completion
- Review plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Coordinate permitting with local jurisdictions and track approvals
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Produce and manage Sign Message Schedules and Location Plans
- Work closely with clients, contractors, property managers, vendors, and municipalities
- Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to keep projects moving efficiently
- Monitor schedules, submittals, project milestones, and deliverables
- Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams throughout each phase of the project
- Oversee front-end office workflow and help ensure priorities are organized and executed effectively
- Provide leadership and direction to the design team
- Help manage scheduling and coordination between departments to support deadlines and production flow
- Assist with estimating and preparing small- to medium-sized estimates when project management workload allows
- Report directly to ownership
Qualifications
- Experience in signage project management and related coordination work
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, leadership, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading or coordinating office staff, designers, or support team members preferred
- Sign industry, construction, fabrication, or related experience preferred
- Permitting experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is strongly preferred
