Clerical/Technical Support Compensation Plan

EMPLOYMENT BEGINS: As soon as possible
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
- To assist the registrar and guidance office staff by processing and maintaining accurate school/student records and communicating registration and enrollment information to students, parents and the school community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Computer related skills with keyboarding experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior successful experience as a school or office secretary preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Make and receive telephone calls, and take messages.
- Assist registrar with coding of schedules.
- Enter registration computer data for incoming and outgoing students.
- Enter data on computer regarding student schedules, and address changes.
- Respond to inquiries regarding enrollment, withdrawals, and transcripts to other school districts and public agencies.
- Maintain, update, and provide student records.
- Assist in registering and scheduling students as directed.
- Assist with summer school enrollment.
- Assist with online enrollment and student information system parent portal.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Type letters and copy transcripts for students entering college (For High School)
- Assist with progress reports and teacher grade checks each six-weeks (For High School)
- Manage graduation and baccalaureate duties such as ordering verifying diplomas, diploma covers, and drafting programs for print shop. (For High School)
- Compile daily attendance update. (For High School)
