We are seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive office, event, and administrative support to firm leaders and stakeholders to join our global consulting firm. This is a hybrid role based in our Washington, DC office, with an initial ramp-up period of 5 days in-office, transitioning to 3 days per week. Standard working hours are 9\:00 AM – 5\:00 PM (EST).
This role reports to the Facility Security & Office Services Supervisor and Washington, DC office leadership.

Bring 3-5 years of administrative or office services experience
Hold a bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
Are highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to execute tasks effectively
Have a proactive problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn and ask questions
Are client-service oriented with a flexible, “can-do” attitude
Ability to prioritize and manage changing demands
Are willing to provide occasionally support activities outside standard business hours
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; comfort learning new technologies and AI tools
Key responsibilities
Office Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, creating a warm, professional, and welcoming office environment
Manage office access, assign workspaces, and coordinate communications for visiting stakeholders
Provide on-site support for stakeholder events to include order/setup/breakdown of catering and tend to client needs
Maintain office appearance by organizing and resetting conference rooms and shared spaces
Stock and maintain office supplies and refreshments
Provide basic technical support (e.g., Teams, Zoom troubleshooting)
Coordinate office equipment maintenance with vendors and internal teams
Escort visitors, as needed
Administrative Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support to firm leaders, including backup support for team members\:
Expense processing and reconciliation
Weekly timesheet submission
Travel coordination
Calendar management
Meeting scheduling and logistics
Provide client outreach
Work closely with Security to coordinate stakeholder compliance requirements
Comfortable enforcing established policies and standards
Support administrative projects tied to firm initiatives

Sr. Administrative Assistant compensation range\: $77K-$80K. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
