Job Summary
This position provides advanced administrative support to faculty and departmental leadership. They coordinate faculty activities, travel, meetings and correspondence. The role will provide support and management of pathology-related administrative processes, and special projects while ensuring efficient departmental operations. Responsibilities
Supporting Ophthalmology providers and housestaff in scheduling, academics, travel, clinical operations and processes management. Acts as coordinator for provider schedules, meetings, fellowship rotations, performing advanced tasks with minimal supervision. Member of the administrative support team for cross coverage, backup support, team building activities, group support and departmental support. Main support of pathology and research administrative workflows, including report preparation and documentation tracking. They will process departmental forms, requests, and manage special projects, as well as prepare information for reports and presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT : 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience). Administrative Assistants, III : Requires 3+ years of related experience.
