Recruit Staff Hire is seeking an experienced Office Manager for a well-established law firm in Lafayette. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for an energetic, reliable, and professional candidate with prior law firm experience and an active Louisiana Notary designation.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who can help keep daily office operations running smoothly while communicating regularly with firm leadership, HR, marketing, vendors, attorneys, clients, and staff. This role requires reliable transportation and may involve occasional local travel, less than 10%.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily administrative functions of the law office, including scheduling, filing, front desk operations, and general office coordination
Manage attorney and client calendar appointments to help ensure timely communication and proceedings
Coordinate vendor relationships and manage office supplies to maintain efficient office operations
Communicate regularly with the HR Director, Marketing Team, and Firm Administrator
Support attorneys, clients, and staff with professionalism and attention to detail
Use Microsoft Office and modern office technology to complete daily administrative tasks
Maintain a professional, organized, and client-focused office environment
Requirements:
Louisiana Notary required
Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but non-degreed candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern office technology
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Reliable transportation required
Must carry car insurance with minimum bodily injury coverage of $100,000/$300,000
Comfortable with occasional local travel, less than 10%
