We are partnering with a New York–based private equity firm to identify an experienced Executive Assistant to support senior members of the investment team. This is a high-impact role for a finance-focused EA who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is interested in long-term growth, including the opportunity to transition into a deal-facing role over time.
This position offers meaningful exposure to the investment process, close partnership with senior leadership, and a seat at the table within a highly collaborative firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level executive support to senior deal professionals, including Partners, Managing Directors, and Principals
Manage complex, multi-party calendars across time zones, prioritizing investment-related meetings and deadlines
Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, including last-minute changes and detailed itineraries
Serve as a trusted gatekeeper, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Support deal execution by assisting with meeting logistics, data room coordination, document preparation, and process tracking
Act as a liaison between the deal team and internal and external stakeholders, including investors, advisors, and portfolio company contacts
Assist with expense management, reporting, and administrative workflows related to transactions
Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance team efficiency
Gradually take on expanded responsibilities tied to deal exposure and investment team support
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant
Prior experience within finance, private equity, investment banking, or asset management
Demonstrated experience supporting senior-level executives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Strong understanding of deal-driven workflows and the cadence of investment teams
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities seamlessly
High attention to detail, strong judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Professional, polished communicator with confidence partnering with senior stakeholders
Genuine interest in private equity and motivation to grow beyond a traditional EA role
