ROLE AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Substitute Administrative Secretary provides temporary administrative and clerical support to ensure the continuity of departmental operations during staff absences. This role supports daily office functions through a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and organizational tasks and requires professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma required; post-secondary coursework or degree preferred.
Experience:
Previous clerical, secretarial, or administrative support experience preferred.
Skills/Other:
Ability to successfully multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to utilize district technology and work to maintain proficiency, as required skills sets change with technology and/or the needs of the district. Ability to handle confidential information. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Demonstrated mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the essential duties of the position. Ability to work a flexible work day, work week, and work year. Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions in accordance with board policies and established administrative guidelines.
