Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Besides the minimum qualifications already defined the following are preferred: A College degree or an Associate’s degree from a Community College. At least two years of secretarial experience in an academic department with a total of four or more years of office experience. Knowledge of Banner, Yomart, e-print and other reporting software and policies that are used by Appalachian State University. Knowledge of Accounting, Finance, HR, Payroll and other business systems.
