Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents
• Ensure accuracy of citations, formatting, attachments, and exhibits
• Reserve motions and coordinate remote appearances
• Perform State and Federal e-filings
• Draft TOCs, TOAs, and discovery shells
• Track deadlines and maintain organized case files
• Assemble exhibits for motions, depositions, and trial
• Assist with mediation and trial prep
• Manage calendars, schedule hearings, and handle correspondence
• Provide backup support to other secretaries when needed

What You Bring

• Background in California civil litigation
• Experience with State and Federal e-filing
• Strong document formatting skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
• Familiarity with litigation support processes and legal technology
• Ability to work fully onsite, Monday through Friday

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $30 to $36
• Estimated annual range: $63,000 to $75,000
