
Exceptional Admins (EA) is seeking a professional for an opportunity with a client in the Technology (Data Center) industry with an office located at 80290 Downtown Denver.
EA is a boutique firm exclusively focused on placing administrative professionals. The philosophy behind the EA process is to deliver exceptional professionals to each client with the outcome producing high-level support to the role and organization. While skill-set is a large focus during the process, personality and charisma of each candidate are viewed just as important.
About the company, office and executive
Funded by dynamic investors this technology company is positively disrupting cloud computing. The office layout is on two floors of a tall building downtown. The all-window walls offer an abundance of light making for an energetic space. The Denver office fosters an in person culture with 65 professionals collaborating each day. The President, new to the role, operates out of the San Francisco office. While the executive is CA-based, the role will be CO-based. He is analytical and is looking for a proactive professional with a proven track record of making sound decisions. This role will report to the Sr. Executive Assistant who will act as a mentor, facilitating the admin team.
Hiring goal
The role of Executive Assistant has significant responsibilities requiring the new team member to be organized, attentive, and nimble. The ideal candidate must be able to pivot between tasks while maintaining a sharp focus on their own duties. You’ll be providing exceptional service to the president and partnering with the admin team on company initiatives.
Role Overview
Executive Support –70%
Heavy calendar management
Book full-cycle travel, bi-monthly (domestic, on occasion international)
Expense reports via Concur, bi-monthly
Assist with arranging team outings, dinners, summits and offsites (monthly and/or quarterly)
Support all activities associated with direct reports (e.g., 1:1 meetings)
Support internal and external activities, including board seat activities
Assist the executive with task follow-up and meeting action items
Support advancement of meeting protocols to optimize workflow (i.e., helping team members follow up)
Meet and greet clients, distinguished guests, and the like (provide arrival logistics, act as primary point of contact)
Support (i.e., be back up) to departmental summits, events, and business dinners
Admin Team Collaboration – 30%
Work with others on the admin team on cross team activities
Be supportive and collaborate with office manager
Work with office manager to plan and execute the yearly holiday party
Support Sr. Executive Assistant with company initiatives and projects

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, which includes Teams

Knowledge of Data Center industry, a plus but not required

Company Offerings
Salary: $80k to 100k, discretionary bonus.
401(k): Company matches 50% up to 6% on every payroll. Employees are 100% vested, with eligibility beginning immediately upon employment.
PTO: 20 days of PTO accused over a year.

Phone screen between candidate and Exceptional Admins (30-mins)
If a fit, candidate creates personal, admin portfolio (2.5-hrs)
Once the candidate’s fit is confirmed, conduct video interview with Exceptional Admins (15-mins)
First client interview: video interview with candidate, President and Sr. EA, (30-mins)
Second client interview: candidate and client staff (2-hrs onsite)
