Virtua Health espouses the virtues of wellness. As one of the largest providers of health care services in southern New Jersey, the not-for-profit system consists of four acute-care hospitals (serving the communities of Berlin, Marlton, Mt. Holly, and Voorhees), as well as several outpatient surgery centers, rehabilitation and long-term care facilities, and specialty clinics. It also offers home care services and mobile intensive care units. Specialties include pediatrics, cardiology, orthopedics, cancer treatment, and women's health care. Virtua Health has about 1,800 physicians on staff and a total of more than 1,000 beds.
